Where Do the Laws of Nature Come From?

[Via slashdot] Interesting read, and a follow up on a controversial Op-Ed.

The author seems to be poking fun at himself by quoting Richard Feynman's epigram, 'Philosophy of science is about as useful to scientists as ornithology is to birds.'
